His character development from aloof businessman to devoted husband who calls her “little stutterer” with genuine affection is absolutely swoon-worthy.
What really makes this drama shine is the supporting cast. Lin Youqian’s mother is an absolute treasure who immediately adopts Qi Xu as the daughter she never had, going so far as to brew questionable “enhancement” soups for her son and lock the newlyweds in their room together.
